Inspiration, a Long Wait and Boredom

As I wait for my first TTRPG as it enters edits, layouts, and design from my artist & partner, I have been reading/listening to the Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir. I became inspired and wanted to run something similar at my table. Alas, no system clicked, with Mörk Borg or Vast Grimm coming the closest. So, what do you do? You hack those systems and create something from the altar of longing and boredom.
